Vivaly ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Vivaly mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the Service.
Vivaly runs no advertising SDKs and does not track you across other apps or websites. We use Google Firebase — including Firebase Analytics — to operate the Service and understand aggregate usage so we can improve the app. The information collected automatically is:
Vivaly asks for the following device permissions only when a feature needs them, and never in the background. You can grant or revoke each one at any time in iOS Settings:
Vivaly does not access your contacts, and location is entirely optional.
When location-based suggestions are on and you've granted permission, Vivaly sends your approximate coordinates to Open-Meteo, a free weather service, to look up current conditions. That request contains only coarse coordinates — no name, email, account, or device identifier — and the result is used on your device to rank experience suggestions. We do not store your location, and you can force or override the weather manually in Settings → Personalization.
Choices you make in Settings → Personalization — such as your favorite categories/interests and whether time- and location-based suggestions are on — are stored locally on your device and used to tailor which experiences the app surfaces to you. Discoverability and marketing-email consent choices are saved to your account so we can honor them.
Our marketing website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate visitor traffic — for example, how many people view a page. This sets a first-party analytics cookie in your browser. We do not use this data for advertising, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. The Vivaly app itself does not use cookies.

Your username, profile photo, experience posts, and activity are visible to your Vivaly friends by default. If you have an Elite account with a public profile enabled, your public snapshot collection and profile may be visible to all Vivaly users.

These providers access your information only to perform services on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for other purposes.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vivaly, our users, or the public.
If Vivaly is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly in the app at any time: open Settings → Privacy → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — it erases your profile, posts, photos, updates, friendships, group/community memberships, and aura history from our systems. There is no recovery. You may alternatively email vivalyapp@gmail.com and we will complete the deletion within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

You can exercise several of these rights yourself in the app: Settings → Privacy lets you download a copy of your data (“Download my data”), manage discoverability and marketing-email consent, and permanently delete your account and all associated data. Vivaly is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data, and you use the Service at your own risk.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice (such as an in-app notification). Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
