What is Vivaly?

Vivaly is an anti-social-media social app. Instead of scrolling, you collect real-world experiences — cooking a new meal, going to a live show, hiking a trail, hosting friends — and earn "aura" for each one. Your friends see what you've done, you see what they've done, and the app pairs you up for shared challenges with friends you already have.

How do I earn aura?

Complete an experience and submit proof (a photo). You earn aura based on how hard the experience was. Pair challenges and weekend boosts give you 2× aura.

Will I ever be paired with or messaged by strangers?

No. Vivaly only connects you with people you're already friends with on the app. Someone has to send you a friend request and you have to accept it before any pairing or messaging can happen. Block and Report are available on every profile and post.

How do I report a post or person?

Tap the "…" menu on any post or profile and choose Report, or email vivalyapp@gmail.com. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content or suspend accounts that break our Terms. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content, and we report any content that sexualizes a minor to NCMEC and law enforcement.

How do I block someone?

Open their profile, tap the "…" menu, and choose Block — or manage your list under Settings → Privacy → Block list. Blocking instantly removes them from your feed, pairings, and messages.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Settings → Privacy → Delete account. It's permanent and immediate — your profile, posts, photos, updates, friendships, memberships, and aura are erased. If you can't access the app, email vivalyapp@gmail.com and we'll delete it for you.

I forgot my password.

Email vivalyapp@gmail.com from the address on your account and we'll help you reset it.

What's the difference between Premium and Elite?

Premium ($4.99/month) gets you 2× aura weekends, mutual-label reveals, full profile-view history, and a badge. Elite ($9.99/month) includes all of that plus a global account — your experiences can appear on the public feed and you can gain followers. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select Vivaly, and manage or cancel there. Refunds are requested through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

My aura dropped — why?

Vivaly is built on real experiences. If the community votes a post as fake (at least 5 votes with 66%+ flagging it), the post is removed and a double aura penalty applies: we reverse the aura it earned and deduct an equal amount as a penalty. You'll get an in-app alert if this happens.

Is my data private? Do you run ads?

No ads, ever. We don't sell your data and we don't run advertising or third-party tracking SDKs, so we don't track you across other apps. You can set your profile to Private (Settings → Privacy) so only friends can see you. See our full Privacy Policy.

Is Vivaly safe for teens?

Vivaly is for ages 13 and up and is rated 17+ on the App Store because it includes user-generated content and social features. There's no stranger contact, content is moderated within 24 hours, and parents/guardians should review our Terms and Privacy Policy with users under 18.

Safety & emergencies

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services (911 in the U.S.) right away. To report harmful content or behavior on Vivaly, use the in-app Report button or email vivalyapp@gmail.com — we review every report within 24 hours.
